How to Calibrate Your Board
When you have your board connected to your laptop, calibrate the board.

Calibrating. Use the pen and hover over the Promethean symbol in the upper left hand corner of the board. The light will change color and the board becomes white and has a message in the middle. You will tap once on the board then click within each crosshair that shows up - a total of 5 crosshairs. If you accidentally double click you'll skip a crosshair. This does NOT work. You'll have to start again with your calibrating. This may take a little practice as the new boards seem to be a little sensitive. You'll soon get the feel for it and it will become much simpler.

More about calibrating: The purpose of calibrating the board is to make sure the pen and the cursor are at the same point. Your boards are mounted very well and don't really move very much which saves you from having to calibrate very often. Every time you use a different computer with your board, you may have to calibrate. If things just aren't working correctly, calibrate!

Even more about calibrating: If you hover over the flame to calibrate and nothing happens or the screen flashes but you don't see the crosshairs to calibrate (this happens occasionally), try this: Open your Mac HD, select Applications, then select the Promethean folder. Inside that folder is a folder called ActivDriver. Inside the ActivDriver folder click on ActivCalibrate. Double click on the activcalibrate and you should now be able to calibrate the board.

Reinstalling the driver:

In your applications folder on your laptop, you'll find a Self-Service App. Open the app, then make sure you select Software on the right hand side. Here you will find the ActivDriver. Install the ActivDriver.
